The ‘Chalo South Africa’ or ‘Let’s Go South Africa’ campaign, invites travellers to visit SA shores in the summer season. SAT has chosen to advertise via billboards as well as buses, kiosks and major shopping malls to create a more precise impact. The outdoor campaign will also include secondary cities such as Chandigarh, Jallandhar, Surat and Goa to appeal to travellers looking for family holidays and honeymoons. Key markets in metropolitan cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai and Bangalore will be the target of focused advertising. Says Hanneli Slabber, Country Manager, South African Tourism India: “The Indian market emits robust potential. It is growing and therefore it’s an exciting time for us to plan in customised ways. SA Tourism has introduced special packages and specialised information that will help the traveller plan a trip, depending on their unique requirements.” www.tourismupdate.co.za
