The Travel and Tourism private sector believes that South African Tourism (SA Tourism) should be taking the sector's point of view, hand-on knowledge and insight into account when embarking on global and local marketing destination South Africa. In turn, the private sector recognises that marketing campaigns can be costly and have committed to contributing to the funding of SA Tourism's marketing destination marketing activities through TOMSA.
Attracting tourists into the country from far flung corners to our local SADC neighbours is vital for the sector's ongoing growth and survival. As the administrators of the TOMSA levy, the TBCSA is also involved in promoting TOMSA to products that are not collecting the levies.
